Adlestrop  1806

Adlestrop Rectory as was in Jane Austen's time

After Bath and before the move to Southampton Jane Austen stayed briefly in several places, including the rectory in Adlestrop  in Gloucestershire, home of her mother's cousin Rev. Thomas Leigh. From there she went on to visit Stoneleigh Abbey which he had just inherited.
